APPLICATION MODE

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR A NON-IMMIGRANT (ED) VISA EXTENSION
- The TM. 7 (Application for Extension of Temporary Stay in the Kingdom) with a recent photograph (size 4×6 cm)
- The TM.30 (Notification form for house-master, owner or the possessor of the residence where alien has stayed) of 2 pages signed by your dormitory/residence owner/ manager and attached with the documents as follows:
- A copy of identification card of your dormitory/residence owner/ manager with signature to certify that it is a true copy.
- A copy of house registration of your dormitory/residence owner/manager with signature to certify that it is a true copy.
- The Acknowledgement of Penalties for a Visa Overstay
- The Certificate of Classmate (STM.7 form) signed by your classmate and attached with his/her copy of passport (non-Thai citizen) or copy of national ID card (Thai citizen)
- A copy of your tuition fee receipt of latest semester
- A copy of grade report (This is not required for the 1st year or exchange students)
- A copy of passport (every page)
- Application fee: 1,900 Thai baht
Remarks
- Please contact the International Relations Officer 1 month before your visa expired date in order to prepare all required documents for the visa extension.
- If you proceed the visa extension after the due date, you must pay for the fine of 500 Thai baht per day.
- 90 Days notification must be done before the due date. You must pay for the fine of 2,000 Thai baht if it is overdue.
HOW TO GO TO NAKHON PATHOM IMMIGRATION OFFICE
- Take bus no 556.
- Before hop on the bus, carefully read the board in white colour. It should state “Raykhing Pagoda” (ไร่ขิง), or
- If you are already on the bus, ask the bus driver/ticket officer to make sure that the bus will head to Raykhing Pagoda (ไร่ขิง), where the bus terminal is located.
- Once arrived at the terminal, walk back to the entrance road of the pagoda.
- Turn left and go straight to a high school where a signboard of Nakhon Pathom Immigration Office is displayed in English.
- Follow the indicated direction.

WHAT TO DO AT THE IMMIGRATION OFFICE
- Make sure that you go during the immigration office working hours: Monday-Friday 8.30-16.00 (lunch break 12.00-13.00).
- When you arrived at the immigration office, please go inside the main office and take a cue number from the immigration officer’s desk. There are two different types of queue card: (1) pink ticket is for visa extension and (2) green ticket is for re-entry permit in 90 days notification. Then, wait for the immigration officer to call your number.
- The officer will guide you where to go (to do the visa/the visa extension or to notify 90-day stay)
- Frequently read the call number on an LED screen while you are sitting for your turn.
- Once your call number is displayed on the screen, you will another number which indicate where you should go.
- Show the necessary document to the immigration officer.
- Wait for a while until the immigration officer call you.
Remarks
- Please dress properly. Uniform is preferable.
- Prepare well all the required documents because, at the immigration office and nearby, there is no photocopy shop.
- Bring enough amount of cash with you because, at the immigration office and nearby, there is no automatic transfer machine (ATM) and all the payments are in cash only.
